Doomreps is an iPhone app that locks TikTok, Instagram and your other doomscroll apps until you earn time back with push-ups, squats or steps. Your body is the controller: every rep flaps a pixel bird through the pipes.

How it works
- Pick your apps. Choose what steals your time with Apple's Screen Time. Those apps stay locked.
- Play to earn. Prop up your phone and move. The front camera tracks your reps on-device and each rep flaps the bird. Score 5 or more to bank minutes.
- Spend anywhere. Unlock for as long as you've earned: on the bus, at work, wherever. When the time runs out, your apps lock again.

- Full workout: push-ups and squats.
- Low-key moves: calf raises and desk push-ups, for the office.
- Hold mode: plank, wall sit or toe hold to keep the bird level.
- Steps: connect Apple Health and every 1,000 steps adds minutes.
